The Discovery Center in Salt Lake City

We had to go to Salt Lake City for Israel's 1st Class Medical Cert. yesterday. Since we were already there we decided to go to the children's museum down by the Gateway Mall. The girls had so much fun exploring! Maggie really enjoyed the Utah Farm where they could plant different types of veggies and even sit on a horse. Emma just wanted to chase balls around and put them in the different holes in the "Garden Area" We had a very good time together.

A Simple Picture in Front of the Tree? Never.

This is the closest I got to a decent picture.

Here is Maggie trying to steam roll Emma.

And of course, Emma is getting her back for trying.

Once wasn't good enough.

Yeah! Try that again. I DARE you.

Our First Sledding Adventure

This is our 1st time sledding with the girls! Western Washington and Texas just were not the best places for wintertime adventures. Maggie LOVED it! I lost count of the number of times she climbed that hill with sled in tow. Emma even took a few trips down on my lap or Israel's she got cold though. She's still only 10 months old. So she and I got to warm up in the van with some hot cocoa and formula. (Not mixed together, blahh) We had a great time and look forward to some more snow so we can come back SOON!

The Bread Makers

Israel and Maggie are the new bread makers in the family. They grind the wheat and make everything from scratch! Yum, yum, yum! I love how our home smells on Sunday afternoon. You just can't beat it.

My First Project

I'm just so excited! I painted the girls ceiling purple and the walls GREEN. Maggie has been wanting a green room since we started house hunting. Israel was a gem and put up the trim and I painted it white. The girls LOVE it and to be honest, I like it too.
