RUSH Triathlon

Israel signed up for another triathlon this summer and we made sure we came along to cheer him on.  He didn't feel as prepared for this one, but still did a great job.  He learned AFTER participating that this one is notorious for being longer than it's suppose to be.  Such as, the 750m swim is closer to 900m, the bike was suppose to be 12.4mi and was 14mi and the run had a big dusty hill.  Despite all that, he finished well.

 

Baby Blessing

Israel blessed Lilly August 14th.  It was really wonderful.  We had some family and great friends join us at church and for a lunch at the park afterwards.  Sadly, we didn't take any pictures that day.  I know, I'm a horrible mother.  What do you do?  I know, try to recreate the moment at home, by myself.  Let's just take a look at that attempt shall we?

My niece, Alyssa, her husband, Drew, and their new baby were able to come for the blessing and I got this great picture of the two babies together.  They are 4 weeks apart in age and weigh about the same in the picture making them look like little twins.  So, so cute!
