Now WHEN did that happen?!?

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMA, DEAR!!!  Where have the past four years gone?  Well...let's take a look...
2 weeks old in Midland, TX
1st Birthday in Idaho Falls, ID
2nd Birthday and ridiculously adorable!
3rd Birthday and sweet as can be...

4 YEARS OLD and growing TOO FAST~!!
Maggie woke up at 5 AM to make a special requested birthday breakfast of Marshmallow Mateys and juice (I guess that's what you get when you make a hot breakfast for your kids every morning....

Emma's cake request this year was a Merliah Mermaid cake from "A Mermaid Tale".   Not my ideal, but she likes it.  We made a makeshift surfboard so she would get lost at sea and made chocolate seashell candies for a border.  This was also my first attempt to "write" on cake.  Not my finest decorating moment, but it's done and she's happy-ish.  [After seeing it she decides to tell me that she had changed her mind and wanted a Clifford cake.  Tough cookies kid!  You'll have your cake and eat it, too! bwahahahaha]
Overall a really nice day.  We'll be having her birthday dinner Friday night so we can have "restaurant pizza".

Love the years coming together. May have to steal that idea! Adorable. Love the cake. I'm glad she had a great Birthday. If you want to make a Clifford cake for fun. Since it use to be my class mascot... the easiest way I have found is 2 heart cakes. Cut one down the middle for ears. Attach the the points together. Then at the bottom of the main heart cake place a pink tongue.
