Tuesday afternoon the girls and I took to the road again on our way to Farley, IA. This portion of the trip only took 2 hours so it felt like chump change in comparison. Britt has 2 little ones and we were both delightfully surprised to find that Maggie and her oldest, Nathan, who is younger than Maggie became the bestest friends ever while we were there. We stayed over the first night. The girls got to sleep on these blow up kids mattresses they thought were super cool. And Aly came over and dyed my hair!!
The next day Nathan had a dentist appointment so we all piled in the van and took off to town. While Nathan got to sit in the dentist chair all us girls took off to visit my sisters at the bank (they both work at the same place) and then to the mall to play on the cars (Mommy's too cheap to actually start them) but they had fun anyway. And we got pictures in front of this GIGANTIC bunny. A little unnerving if you ask me, but hey they liked it.
We finished off our afternoon with a trip to this cool McDonald's with the fun character chairs. They loved it, but I personally detest McDonald's. ick... what do ya do?
