Garden Crimes

Yesterday, a huge storm just blew right in, leaving damage in it's wake.

Oh, the carnage... the senseless carnage...
We lay to rest this day, Sweet Bell Pepper. Bell Pepper's family and close friends, the Cucumbers, were brutally pummeled by a traveling garden gang that calls itself, HAIL.
The corn, beans, spinach, carrots and peas are in critical condition and our prayers are with them. On a happier note, it looks like the pumpkin, squash and zucchini are going to pull through.
The iris' on the other hand, are going to need therapy to make it through this tragic time.
Surprisingly, this gang, HAIL, left the scene with no damage to the property where these heinous crimes were committed.

Unfortunatly this gang hit us as well. Though not as forcefully. As of yet, we have been unable to go and asses the damage because of the mud. I am hoping that everything is ok.

Man, all that work! I know you will be blessed for your diligence anyway. Isn't it crazy what a storm can do so quickly?
